All the fear ahead, without you
We are only strangers
Looking for some reason to live
But what if we seem to shiver
Just looking through the horizon
Poor strangers we are
That can't look so far
Tiny eyes opening hard
When there are no twinkling stars
Paradise in disgrace
Landscape over my shoulder
And where are you now?
Aging before I get older
So I pray that I could die
But the pain never seems to surface
These tears that I cry
Emptiness making me nervous
I wish it could be enough
All the fear ahead
And...

THE LONG WAIT IS OVER
Oh. it seems like forever:
the wait, the imagining,
the memory of promises
the daring to accept
the invitation to a
daring adventure;
like two virgins who dare
to say yes, to be up
and open for every test;
our whole bodies from
nose to toes, to say YES
regardless of where our
desires want to go;
YES
even there and there too.
So lets' meet at the KISSING
PLACE leaving all
inhibitions ...daring to say
yes; it has been a
long time COMING. I'm
UP for it are YOU?

upon the sunrise

Handshake unless you see him pick his nose.
He wore his finest Goodwill clothes but hasn't
brushed his teeth since childhood!
Hug unless you can smell his BO from 4 feet away.
He was homeless with a: WILL DATE FOR FOOD sign.
You were sick of eating Big Macs alone!
Kiss on cheek and a thank you. Friend zone.
Too polite. Keep his hopes up. Keep him around to borrow money, run errands and move furniture.
Restraining order because he doesn't understand the word "no". Just say NO to surprise amateur pap smears.

Obsessed with all we want.
We will take it
in any shape or form we can get it.
Neglecting to realize,
what we want may not always reciprocate.
Thus we continue to want, ache, yearn, lust
All the days long.
The heart is an ancient organ with
melodies of century old memories.
Foggy lives led that leave
their dark magical resonance,
in us deep and wide.
Something, some feeling,
just at the tip of your brain,
