Expanse
Tell me of a place where we could both exist.
I have missed the way you feel.
Yet, in real time I do not know your touch.
Much of what I have felt is in my imagination.
We are stuck in the limitations of distance.
In an instance, I would come to you
through the vacuum of time and space.
Tell me of a place where we could both exist.

In the End
It was not enough time.
Crime; what a harsh reality, is it not?
Taut my feelings,
dealing with this unapologetic distance.
Existence is feeling questionable.
Full of whys and what-ifs.
Cliff face diving, with my eyes closed, into love.
Shoving no parachute for safety;
free falling into what lies beneath.
Teeth waiting in shark-infested waters.
Slaughter of me is inevitable.
Pull this misfortunate together,
never meant to survive this fall.
Recall the height at which water becomes cement.
Lament nothing because you...
