Dreams of Autumn
aeries in glades continue to dance
to memories of sunny days and blooms passed
but darker shadows are arrived
mantles to the spirit of Fall
the sighs of breeze through the trees
shedding their beauty to the ground
standing stark among evergreens
with branches like anguished claws
warmth of the hearth embrace
call the beloved to their home
watching the last leaf of autumn
makes it way to the ground below
to memories of sunny days and blooms passed

17 years of tears
17 years of tears
Seventeen long years ago, the Angel's got their way, i couldn't stop them taking you, no matter how hard I seemed to pray
Why did they take you, there was so much still to share, now I have a whole in my heart and a pain so hard to bare
Surely they didn't need you, as much as i did down here, there's still moments when I cry for you, my tears still sting and sear
There were plenty others the Angel's could have had, but they chose the best I guess, though it made me sad
You taught me so many...

When I Miss You
I miss you… three simple words
That feels like whispers in the wind.
I miss you more than those birds
Looking for shelter or when we find
Warmth because you are my home
And warmth. I miss you more than
The moon craves the stars. I roam,
Searching for love, but the plan
Backfired when I found it shining
Within your eyes. A depth that was
Freeing me and was not confining
Me to just shallowness. A buzz
And longing I have not felt before.
A feeling that makes me less sore.
That feels like whispers in the wind.
