Wednesdays

I was born on a Wednesday.
When i think of that on days like today,
I feel a little bit better to go my own way..

Thursdays may be thirsty,
and in the summer when the house is all mine..
Wednesdays are warmer, and sunnier every time.
Fridays might feel frisky,
or could be another excuse to drink whiskey..
but Wednesday gives me a better vibe..

Saturday and Sunday,
are supposed to be the fun days..
it doesn't matter I'm mostly in a daze..
Monday will be some day...
and some say it's a phase..

Tuesday was just yesterday, & yesterday is gone..
Don't worry, it will return..
The clock keeps ticking on..
some days seem fast & some days are long
But Wednesdays are the best days...
because i said so,
and no, I am not wrong.
