I Am
When you look at me,
You do not see,
Who I am,
I am just skin stretched over bone,
I am alone...
Who I am and who I think I...
Are two different things,
I stare and see a fading light,
In which would have remained,
If not for darkness...
Darkness...
I am darkness,
Jealous of light, but in love
With my attitude of hate
For the light,
The world,
Who inflicts pain on the dark,
On the black,
On me...
Who rejects the night,
Because they cannot see,
Cannot be,
Do not understand,
Me...
I am me...
You do not see,
Who I am,
I am just skin stretched over bone,
I am alone...
Who I am and who I think I...
Are two different things,
I stare and see a fading light,
In which would have remained,
If not for darkness...
Darkness...
I am darkness,
Jealous of light, but in love
With my attitude of hate
For the light,
The world,
Who inflicts pain on the dark,
On the black,
On me...
Who rejects the night,
Because they cannot see,
Cannot be,
Do not understand,
Me...
I am me...
