A Patch of Blue

 Silent whispers
of a winter’s gust
Bellowing waves streaming
in concave shades of gray
Bare masses of  lithe statues
bend in reverence
to the perception
Teardrops splatter
like children's laughter
reflects  heaven pool
in mucky wade
Black ink gathering
squalls to reach heights
Falter in attempts of flight
All directs the eye
 Amidst the gloom
vastness envisioned
in a patch of blue
