A Life Like You

When you surround yourself with negativity, you start to blow out that amazing glow.

You eyes no longer shine and pearly white bones start to grind starting from the jaw and down.

When all you do is point out the bad things in life and lose sight of the beautiful things that stand before you, have you gone internally blind?

Have the people who love you become nothing more than fragments of broken glass on the floor.

Were we never good enough that you had to go for blood and bullets when we offered you a safe and sound lighthouse looking for all the ships that lost their ways at sea?

Or do you think we should be the sailors that go down with captain drowning in the deep?

Why can't you see all the clarity out there for you and me. If I'm the problem then I'l let you be.

But if I can help then let me see all the wounds the world has done on you because others have it worse than me and you.

There's no point in the cutting or the cigarette burns, the silent youtube videos of how much you've been hurt.

Because everyone is hurt. I'll try to be less cold but you must do your part to.

Because some of us have a life like you.
