Hello, I am a fellow so called poet who likes to write poetry from time to time. I;m not on here as often so you'll probably only hear from me once in a blue moon.

Sharks in the Tub
Sitting and dripping in a porcelain bowl
My feet are sticking out because I'm not quite small
Round and round those fins go
Over and under when the tide blows
Sandpaper skin causing me to bleed
Sharks in the tub and a screamer in me
Water goes over as I stand to struggle
Making a flood on the tiles
They rub on my ankles and chew on my souls
Grind on my knuckles and laugh like ghouls
With the water a darken
Sharks in the tub stalkin
My head made its way to collide with the edge of all those imaginary fiends

Jewelry Box
Mother always told me to keep my treasure to myself
Those rubies, diamonds, and pearls
Cascading down my chest and between my thighs
A ripe cherry hidden away from man
A jewelry box only locked and not to be budged
Sealed shut until the king comes
Taught to be virtuous and true
My blunt attitude and uninterested tongue
Those animals in the basement still throw their stones
Never taking in the response of

The women are no better
They leer and try to take a peek
Not minding their own business...

Sleep now dear baby
Toss around all night
Remember those things that gave you such a fright
Dream dear sweet baby
Roll on your back
The tall woman comes in gold and black
Don't cry dear baby
Hold in those tears
Soon this will all be over when you reach six feet under
And remember why you cried all those tears

Anxiety Till Death Do Us Part
There's a tinker in my finger and it taps on the table
Fast pace and impatient
Annoyed and self efficient
There's a voice in my head and it screams and screams
I filter it through my brain and out my mouth
Translation rusty but good o'l trusty
There's a fly in my face and my eyes follow it wherever it lands
Back and forth or all around
Sometimes I'll see faces on the wall and shadows in the stalls
There are needles in my lungs and it causes me to wheaze
Constricting when I try to speak
Causing things to go...

Mandy
Cried out the majority of tears
Stayed strong until graduation day and yonder
Mandy's done the deed
Proved the others wrong
and settled the score against the woes of high school
Mandy the strong
Protected the ones in need
Kept those she loved at a close degree
Mandy the knight
Shouted for a word in the crowd
Silenced everyone with a lion roar
Mandy the queen
Kept others in mind
Didn't hesitate to throw in a dime
Mandy the generous
Worked...

Tell Me
Tell me if the beauty is branded on the skin
or woven into the thoughts within
Tell me where the father stays
while the mother sits and waits
Tell me when I became useless and
my values turned to mush
Tell me if I'm good enough for the suicidal stance
or waiting in the hospital for salvation meds
Tell me if god would approve or strike me
where I stand
Tell me where the worth is and if I can try again
Tell me if I truly love myself
or woven into the thoughts within

Cut Me To Pieces
Cut me to pieces
Gut me on sight
Let the sirens blare
and the pictures flare
Lock me in places
Run when I hide
Count the days and the months
that brought us by
Kneel when I scream
Laugh when I wheeze
Joke about the moments when
I used to yell and cry
kick me before I stand

Die in the streets like

Joan
Quivering from shivered lips
to numb toes
Standing in an open sea
Looking into the abyss that sheltered me
Walking out on liquid salt from both ends of the earth
Praying for dear god to lift me from this dirt
Dust under eyelids for an unclear view
Fingers in the ears to prevent the most recent news
Palm over mouth to prevent the words wanting to be spoken
Silencing a good little girl to keep her pretty mouth shut

A Little Sorry
Sorry that I screwed up
Acted like a fool
and royally fucked up
Sorry that I'm just not that good
Being an asshole when I broke out the blues
I know there's been times I
smashed up all the hope
Leave you in the dark without a candle or match
to clarify what's been done
Trying to make it all up
Apathetic when tragedies strikes
But I swear to God I'm trying and
I'm not a pro even at my very best
Everything that seemed so right when adolescent
now seems unreal...

Eyes of the child are the cameras recording 24/7
Seeing all you've done and taking in all the colors spread
An educational video for future references and also
the beginnings of said mistakes that cause disbelief
Wondering around the room and the woods outdoors
Capturing the moments happy and the times gone bad
Figuring the patterns and musical display
With lights off there's still the glowing red
Still reciting everything the other said
The older I get, the weaker I feel

Come on all ye sinners and let us play
From hell to kingdom done
Ocean floor to the rising sun
Pick up your burdens and leave the strays
Lift up the the people you call daughters and sons
Let's joust to see those fallen first

My House
My house offers others
a place to stay when
the rooms are clean and no blood stains
My kitchen in open for three meals a day
When the floor is bleached and the children
bow their heads to pray
My room is a place to sleep when the sheets
aren't stained in white with red specks on each end
My living room is a place to talk when lamps are
upright and furniture is on all fours
My basement is a place to store
Everything I forgot to love and
the instruments that brought bruises and sores
