In My Mind

I went to Maine yesterday, in my mind
 
Heard the ocean far off, the wind carrying its voice thru the pines, in my mind
 
The salt mixing with the pines, such a wonderful smell, in my mind
 
I felt you come up behind me, put your arms around me, in my mind
 
You nuzzled my neck, in my mind
 
Whispered to me that you loved me, in my mind
 
That we would always be together, in my mind
 
I was wanted and happy, in my mind
 
Opening my eyes, my heart fell.....some days reality sucks.
