Feet AFoot / [thee]Pedant's Guide To Pedalry
a near'year of
dada feet,(6mo into it all,
just 1singular foot...)
haunting for th'hauntless
unhauntable
among us-among my/his ill'usion,amuse'ion[s]
of somekinda everlast pedalry
it was a little like this,
buthen, not at all...watching
his feet, then a singular foot,
over-th-course,universal'uni
lateral,humankind curse, of 11'months...
thee purpling hue,th'slowspread
necrosis,[yo!a most literal,living'lively
rot'decay)....first,
amp
uta
te 1/2foot(right)/...didn'tfckn work/...few
weeks later, thee leg gotta go,a'bove th'knee...
CaptainStumpy wishthink p ro sthe s i s make life
danceable again,unimagining[rehab]toils,pain,
weakness,eXhaust[ion] that'd have to be overcum'd
to-walk-again...quit after first session,still'still
Believing
that all he needed was to strap on the piece & go..."just
tell'em to have the guy come in & fix me up with the
damn thing...once i get it, i'll take care of the rest"
'the rest',TheeBigRest, was soon at hand,single-footed unwalkin

eye lookylook at mine feets,not a wholefcknlot younger'n his.
eye see his dead feet'foot there....used t'be me feets was
look justlike Ma's,flatfooted&all...
now,
see his feets/foot only.
he been gone 1.5yr now....th'gap twixt our 'ages' reduced from 22 to 20yrs

woulda been fully dead 10yrs ago if'n i didn't cultivate my perverse sense of humor at myself as a universal self rather than a precious individdibbual selfenclosed self.....

I suppose that's as sentimental as the saxman's gonna get huh? No amount of philosophy or dwelling ever got rid of sentimentality, just induces it. I'd have loved it to have been tears of sadness, and not laughter('cause I'm a sad fucker).

I hadn't cultivated sad-laugh & "my" pain/sorrow just bein an other tiny iota'ic sliver of our (mostly denied)collective pain that 'self'(ego) fails to recognize in lieu of 'self', eye'd'a swallered
