Reunion
Flitting glances across moonlit meadows
Deep in the woods where phantoms gathers
Figures ghostly enact their wooing dance
Slow and sensuous the move of spectres
Eyes meet in salubrious desire,
Washed by death their lusts are gone
Yet deep within the memories flare
Within huskless bodies they still yearn
To be together again
To be whole, to be the man
That’s desired…
There her dreams revolve for him
to be born again to live to share
to love to dare to breathe again
The passage narrows for the soul
To pass through to be part of life
awaits in restless anticipation
pacing the tunnel walls of passage
To live anew, to start again
To write neat lines on white sheets
Calligraphy of life
With the past wiped clean
The new starts afresh
With the past gone down
The new reaches up
With the past shell dead
The new springs to life
Down the corridor a new born cry
The baby opens his eyes
To gaze into hers
Such love exchanged
Mother and Child.
