Peace
Peace is found in the strangest of places
Conditioned to find it in pretty faces
Looking for it in life's possessions
People included in this selfish fashion
But found it is not in these fine looking glasses
Instead it is found in a place with three crosses
How is it found a place of such pain
Because salvation is offered with faithfulness gained
Seek ye first the kingdom of God
To walk in his sacrifice is where hearts called
See the pretty faces in a whole new light
All Gods children we were created in spite
Our fall distorts our image of Him
So die on the cross, he did for our sin
No greater love than this can be found
Peace is a place, where three cross on mound
Thanks be to Christ
You saved my life
To live in you for you now
In submission I bow
Every day this relationship builds
We fail daily, but still this life he heals
Try daily to die to self seeking motives
His sacrifice shines, like dark windows lighted votives
Peace!
