Election Once More

The state is lost, yes all is lost,
for men know not his country most.
Elections come, and so they past,
when phonies rule so long and last.

I've asked some old, so too the new,
how do you vote, do you 'ven do?
Same lame answers, all stupid too,
I care not now, if me they'll sue.

For all is lost, the state is lost,
to phonies cash is but they're boss.
To serve the nation, lands so great,
this your goals, your one sole fate!

But so I fear, the state is lost,
for phonies hear no words across.
Poor old country, for all is gone,
I weep, I weep, I'm but a pawn.

since its election time again in my country, and all I see is pretty much the same old idiots running for office... I dedicate this piece to all of them phonies.
