A Love Lost

There comes a time
not too far away
when you lose what you once knew
gone on a dime
not there to stay
and no one has the sightest clue
an eerie quiet
fills your heart
all thats left is a slowly dying hope
you cry it
all out in part
because you dont know what else to cope
a life gone by
is a love lost
that no one can replace
you ask why
such a cost
for the one with a beautiful face
you listen
but dont hear
the words spoken when they're gone
you're missing them
because you fear
the point you can move on.
