"Flow My Tears, The Gunman Said"

"Man had a idea
man got foolish
man got clever.
when all was planed
When all was said
Man made a bullet
Then Put the bullet in your head"

The mysterious
cloaked stranger taunted
the young bespectacled gunsmith!

1364,
The first bullet
has just been fired!!!!
The bullet never reached its target
instead the bullet
starts its ravages trip through time
interacting with moving targets
and random debris.
killing as it speeds along.

"Allow me to tell you a story"
says the stranger to the gunsmith.

The gunsmith ceases his tinkering
laying to rest the small
pointed projectile of his making
breathing in the fresh
gun smoke of his recently fired
Firearm.

June 28th 1914 Sarajevo,
the death of Archduke Franz Ferdinand
and the birth of world war 1.
September 1939 - 1945 World war 2 countless people died.
November 22nd 1963 Dallis, Texas,
the same bullet kills American president John F Kennedy
February 21st 1965,
the same bullet kills revolutionary Malcolm X.
December 8th 1980 New York City
the same bullet kills musician and poet john Lennon.
19 August 1988, Hungrerford, Berkshire England,
The same bullet multiples and kills 16 people, injures 15 others, including the gunman.
March 13th ,1996, dunblane Scotland
The same bullet kills 16 children and 1 adult
..it is the worst killings ever recorded in UK history.

" I could continue"? said the stranger.

"Don't bother"
reply d the gunsmith,
Ive seen enough"
or that death,
its my fault
my fault"

"Behold,
the slave of your labors
are yours alone to bare,
Judgement is upon you"
As the hooded stranger's
voice became more firm
and less forgiving.

This single stray bullet never slows
its velocity never matched
passing through wells of muscle
and human flesh
the bullet
maintains its treachery
fulled by momentum
the bullet like
the arrows of yesterday
always finds it mark.

The gunsmith drops to his knees
bowing down to his human ignorance
he sheds a tear
The bullet completes its round trip
through time
finally coming to rest in the cranium
of the gunsmith.

"man made a bullet
then put the bullet in his head
"Now flow my tears"
the stranger said.

The stranger
lowers his hood to reveal
the face of the now deceased gunsmith.
His own crumpled corpse lies on the ground before him.
He watches as his own blood
cascades over the morning dew.
He smiles as he fades from existence
hoping his sacrifice would not be in vain?

Every bullet leaves a mark.
