You're Like A Brightly Lit Room.

You send smoke signals,
I see them from afar,
Why use old fashioned methods,
When you have telephones,
Telephone boxes,
Remember those?

I like to communicate with words,
I brandish them like a knife,
Cutting the ugliness that this world offers,
Utilizing them,
Massaging them with a soft pen.

I care for you,
I can't order you,
To come home,
You are a freak like me,
An eccentric,
Walking upon the sidelines,
Trying to clutch normality.

You were my prize,
A golden piece of serenity,
A girl with enough clothes that could cover Rome,
You are my desire.

We broke off,
Our dreams faded,
Like an old photograph,
I wish I could eradicate the demon in,
My head,
So I could feature you as the centerpiece.

You're like a brightly lit room.
