Why?

Home is hell with all its demons
she searched for answers but only found reasons
she'd cry and cry 'cause she was hated
and the sadness and anger never faded,
so she turned to God and asked him "Why?",
but from only the devil she got a reply
she screamed and yelled but no one listened
she sat in her room and watched the tears glisten
horrible thoughts dictated her mind
she tried and tried but could never find
she blared music into her ears
it filled her with rage but got rid of the tears
she was lost in fantasise 'cause she couldn't withstand her own
she knew she was nothing, just another stitch sewn
so she'll sit back and watch life pass her by
her eyes are sad and her smiles but a lie
