Rape Senryu

One of the best Haiku's I have read in this site.

im flattered thank you anando =] also many thanks for adding it to your reading list. basically it happened to me last night and the guy im refering to is my uncle. he didn't really rape me but he could if we were alone. i was completely disgusted

and dark. I am always fascinated by the subject of rape, and you captured the essence of it beautifully. I am not very good at haiku but you  have definitely showed me to keep trying, I will eventually do something as great as this. :) Good job!

First of all I have started admiring you as one of the best poets in the site, but then, that particularly after sharing this much of delicate piece of information before the world with so much of boldness, and now that you are also revealing the same with your attitude, I must give you a standing obession. I wish that this composition of yours reach every part of the world and strengthen womanhood. Hats off to you my dear.

Reading your confession in reply to Anando's comment made me feel so sick for you, and disgusted at your uncle. Please hang in there, Opheliac, you're a wonderful poet and a great human being, your courage and your strength seem unmatched, and of course you expressed your pain so beautifully here, in these dark and concise five haiku.

anything having to do with this subject always raises opinion and rage and sadness.. and memory.. lots of things.. when these words are more than fiction it really hits home.. with anyone.. I'm glad it was an "almost" rape.. even though you probably still have some cuts healing to scars from it.. sorry.. makes me feel guilty for writing stuff like rape ii.. even though that was entirely fictitious it had somethings that rang true.. i have my own scars and have known many with their own..

it really is hard. no i don't have any scars fortunately but the memory still remains..
