The War of Simple Words
These simple words that float around can sneak emotions into minds like contraband smuggled in on the backs of a swarm of flies.
They can be used to describe that feeling in the morning that leaves you questioning the lies existence told you.
When words do battle no war cry sounds, no bells ring, there's no alerts on the news.
But when words do battle, worlds collide, just after falling in on themselves. So many thoughts ended and left to float aimlessly for all time, drifting in empty, darkened, cold space to one day devastate a distant world.
All from the war of six simple words....
When 'she loves me' is faced with 'no she doesn't'
