To Die In Vain
Death an art so few can see
How God takes lives, a mystery
A man so red now has gone grey
Frail and dull beside the bay
No cause too great retreats his will
For even so he's tough not ill
The life God gave so sure he'll take
Regardless what his lovers bake
Sacrifice all lambs, your crown
Give all your wealth and yet not frown
When time has come no magic great
Can save your life just smile have faith
For God knows well that you have done
All things he asked you was for your son
How God takes lives, a mystery
A man so red now has gone grey
Frail and dull beside the bay
No cause too great retreats his will
For even so he's tough not ill
The life God gave so sure he'll take
Regardless what his lovers bake
Sacrifice all lambs, your crown
Give all your wealth and yet not frown
When time has come no magic great
Can save your life just smile have faith
For God knows well that you have done
All things he asked you was for your son
