Sweep her under the rug.
The past
Few hours were
A blur of blood and lace
While the whimpers of a girl
Shook the hotel to its foundations
“You've made a wreck of my soul,
And you've added my heart
To the chain
You wear around your waist
And it's safe to say
That I,
Will forget you”
And the tiles
Of the bathroom floor
Cracked and sank through
The mud as it rose
And her bare feet were trapped
By the dirt as it dragged her down
Her gnawed nails tore paper from the walls
Her screams shattered the windows
Showering her porcelain frame
Separating flesh in rosy lines
Until she vanished
And tiles were replaced
Glass swept and disposed
And she was forgotten
Few hours were

While the whimpers of a girl
Shook the hotel to its foundations
“You've made a wreck of my soul,
And you've added my heart
To the chain
