Delivery
An apricot sunrise shares radiance
to every omniscient particle,
inky fingerprints littered
over her realm of being.
Aquatic eyes glint nostalgia
as a pen is seized,
bruising ambiance with
blunt vehemence.
She's diffusing paragraphs over
sacred distances from heaven to earth,
bleeding ill-fated resolutions.
Whimsical calculations are
jotted upon nebulous memo’s,
drawing pins pierced into
the cracks of her skull.
Languidly she forms another slice of
parchment from the cloud beside her,
slanting carelessly over the edge.
Gathering the letters in one hand,
her courage in the other;
flurries of feathers plummet
towards the mortals.
She’ll deliver these herself.
to every omniscient particle,
inky fingerprints littered
over her realm of being.
Aquatic eyes glint nostalgia
as a pen is seized,
bruising ambiance with
blunt vehemence.

sacred distances from heaven to earth,

Cool poem, Scribbler!
Dig this take on writing battles, though I must admit:
*bruising ambiance with
(I tried over and over... to make sense of this line...to no avail...either you intend an oxymoron or....not sure...?)
Do pen on, poet, please!
Thanks for sharing :-D

re: Re: Delivery
I'm usually a little mindlost when i'm penning,
it all fits the general jigsaw of things in the moment;
but then I forget a piece and confusion ensues.
Aquatic eyes glint nostalgia
as a pen is seized,
bruising ambiance with
blunt vehemence.
I suppose I meant to imply the power
that we hold with our words,
especially when written with
intensity/spirit/emotion. I think.
Thank you for your comments!

This is a great piece, Scribbler! Incredible last stanza, in particular. Loved the poem! :)
