Invention of Shame

Shame you've been with us  a long time it seems.
I also know your twin love oh how she gleams.

Before there was plyers , hammers or  hoe's
Believers once ran naked they had no  cloths.

Beautiful hands of love they held .

No scars,  no knives no weapons from hell.

Your claws are thick calloused and cold.
Your nails are sharp - oh and when they grab hold.

She didn't know the beast she had unleashed .
He didn't want a bitch on a leash.

They ate that fruit and oh was it sweet.
They begged for forgiveness and knelt at his feet.

They made cloths and shelter from the rain.
He passed those tainted genes along to Cain.

He pissed and he moaned oh why did we eat.
Again they begged at his feet.

But they didn't really know shame .

Unless they found a needle back then and drove it deep in the vein.
