Gentlemanly Appeal
Steel gray hair
is not a sign of the weakness of age
but rather
the power of experience.
A pressed suit worn properly,
collar buttoned and tie in place,
is not a sign of being too reserved, conforming,
or old fashioned
but instead
displays a grace and class
rarely seen
among more recent generations.
Polite and proper speech
in no way equates to kowtowing, or cowardice
but rather
etiquette, dignity,
and most importantly of all,
respect.
Deep lines
in time worn skin
do nothing to diminish gentlemanly mien,
but instead
serve to define, refine,
and enhance
an appeal that took a lifetime
to perfect.
