Identity
I could write of solitude
Or independence, But I’m too minute
Of happiness but I shall lie to myself
Of sadness, but that’d just bring me down
I should probably just write about love,
But sweet, sweat, love comes guilt
And the fear of not knowing If I can stay faithful,
With guilt and fear comes sadness
And sadness just brings me down
I could write of fiction or someone else’s life
But I’ve already written all there is to write
I could write of myself, I could write of my pain
I could write of myself,
But I don’t have a name.
Or independence, But I’m too minute
Of happiness but I shall lie to myself
Of sadness, but that’d just bring me down
I should probably just write about love,
But sweet, sweat, love comes guilt
And the fear of not knowing If I can stay faithful,
With guilt and fear comes sadness
And sadness just brings me down
I could write of fiction or someone else’s life
But I’ve already written all there is to write
I could write of myself, I could write of my pain
I could write of myself,
But I don’t have a name.
