altar of sacrifice
And yet here I was again
Laid out
on the altar of sacrifice
Just peices of me
Little bits and string
Heart soul and mind
The dissections of time
To lay upon this table
Is feeling unhooked
Throwing this out
because I so choose
Today the sun rose
Because of the moon glow
Riding the winds
Whichever they blow
The birth of my Mother
Her second held life
Is just but another
This altar of sacrifice
I have felt many things
My time on this earth
Id go to great lengths
For that which is worth
More precious than gold
Finer than pearls
Fortunes that are foretold
Worth traveling the world
There is no such thing
Far as what I've seen
That can be so long
As the heart full of song
The meat of being
The sight I'm seeing
Is suffice
For
Altar of sacrafice
Laid out
on the altar of sacrifice
Just peices of me
Little bits and string
Heart soul and mind
The dissections of time
To lay upon this table
Is feeling unhooked
Throwing this out
because I so choose
Today the sun rose
Because of the moon glow
Riding the winds
Whichever they blow
The birth of my Mother
Her second held life
Is just but another
This altar of sacrifice
I have felt many things
My time on this earth
Id go to great lengths
For that which is worth
More precious than gold
Finer than pearls
Fortunes that are foretold
Worth traveling the world
There is no such thing
Far as what I've seen
That can be so long
As the heart full of song
The meat of being
The sight I'm seeing
Is suffice
For
Altar of sacrafice
