Another Ode to Casanova

(In which are buried pen names of some Deep Underground poets who have featured in the Love and Erotic sections.  This poem follows on from two shorter odes published together October 28th last year.)

In love he'd been THE STUDENT willing,
Mastering the arts of ladykilling.
No 'common or GARDEN' LOVER he,
Making impact beyond Italy.
Place to place and girl to girl DRIFTING,
He could come across as uplifting.

A TORNADO that would STORM through lives,
Pick up many men’s daughters and wives.
With eyes that could pierce hearts like a LANCE,
He could make a seductive advance;
Into the room he’d be the STRIDER,
Look for a beauty, come beside her.

He might say “You are a GOOD GIRL – HERE,
Come with me, you have nothing to fear.”
It seemed little MISSY and much ‘hit’ –
Few could resist his charming SPIRIT,
To DENY THE LOVE he could express
With both passion and tenderness.

He grew in confidence and charm,
Softly TWISTED many a fair arm
Towards the place where couples belong,
To act out and live the SOLOMON SONG,
Giving in to their DARKEST DESIRES
When at the most FIERCE burned passion’s fires.
