When Is a Moon Beam

Outside on the ground,
beneath the night sky,
a shadow waits.

In the air,
through the trees,
the moon peeks
between the clouds.

The anti-flame
objects
and a reflective eye
seeks to extinguish it.

The shade extends
behind a heart-shaped rock.

Night passes;
flames
and anti-flames
persist.
