High Note

You can't hit a high note baby,
but I want you to song me a song.
And I can't hit a low note baby,
But you know for you that I'll try.

And It's funny how when It's raining,
I'll start to feel old inside.
I won't smile, and I won't pray.
I just sit in my room and wish for the music:
To take me away.

But if you hit that high note baby,
I promise to stay by your side.
Yeah, I've been told
music is the key to my soul,
and you've been searching for a key inside.

Yeah, hit that high note baby,
cause Boy, dontcha' know music is the key to my soul
and you've been wanting to get inside.
