Treacherous Humans
Lil scamps who pick the pocket of your time
Stealing the gleam in your eye
Pawning your dreams
Work hard be honest
Treacherous humans will have more to gain
As your life ticks away
They laugh, you pay
Paying for their tomorrow
Every moment a gift, a treasure to behold
Don't let them in
They are treacherous & human

I enjoyed reading this. All of this is sadly true and you've identified how cruel society is. This is my favorite line "Lil scamps who pick the pocket of your time" It's genius. I think you've seen how cold people can be judging by this poem. This is definitely a good write. Well done
