Night Fall

The night has fallen thickly
World all shrouded gray,
Contempt and dissatisfaction –
A conceptual epilogue at play.

Reveled and rivaled disillusion
Has strained the sanity’s cause
Left a racing world,
Running backwards on pause.

Oh, the thought is thought to be figured
But the speech has been subtly denied
And no number of scorching rays
Can dry the tears that are cried.

The slightest of notions have dwindled
Leaving an out of breath hand
We’re so out of shape in helping,
That kindness leads to demand.

We step forth into a circle,
Staring hopefully at the ground,
Ignoring the masks of the clock
Receding from any showdown.

An intangible occurrence
That whispers into the thought
Taken instead for progress
Bowing out of a fight needing fought.

The human heart has been stricken
While day hosts only night,
The weather has changed her opinion
And truth is only a trick of the light.

The night has fallen thickly,
Perversion has pierced the sun
Yet all that is played out,
Is this diseased progress run

Watch yourself, as it comes down
The light will remain impassive to your call,
Ignorance left this shocking
Yet the building moment was an awaited fall.

It’s a tide that rises
Declares the dead to the living
Night that has nothing to do with the dark
Watch the hand, how its open to giving
Despite the way the weight may smart.

Collect the ideas of a light that shines not
Crimson that collapses over the mind
Weaves a pattern of figmented messages
Leaving a trail you must bleed to find.
