Rain fell so heavy
you woulda thought
the sky lost it's love

Drenched and dreary
watching as memories pass me by

and the
day started out,

just the same

least I wasn't alone,
the whole city felt my pain

but In an instant

I smiled,
cause at my surprise

a pulsating shift
shook the world

and the birds
took their flight...

It was obvious
I was awake
but the world was
asleep...
no.....

the world was a simulation

and I was just a memory
in someone else's
mind
