It's All Right

Grin's a crooked smile, showing crooked teeth;
Such is mine, with pride.
Honestly,
Y'all's teeth can be too straight for me.
What's of yours that isn't mine?
Braces?
Wisdom removed?

Well, alright.
Some bite,
Others shine.
It's all right.

Garbs lift to scars beneath;
Such is mine, with pride.
Honestly,
Y'all's skin can be too smooth for me.
What's of yours that isn't mine?
Soft grasses?
No stones threw?

Well, alright.
Some fight,
Others recline.
It's all right.

Twilight tears, day's laughter sheath;
Such is mine, with pride.
Honestly,
Y'all's cheeks can be too dry for me.
What's of yours that isn't mine?
Night slumbers?
Skies of blue?

Well, alright.
Some faces show the night,
Others, not a line.
It's all right.

Sometimes life's a solemn wreath;
Such is mine, with pride.
Honestly,
Y'all's cares can be too free for me.
What's of yours that isn't mine?
Porcelain times
Nary rue?

Some souls feel plight,
Others, a calm divine.

Well, alright.
It's alright.
