Some days I am funny,
I can spin you a line
make you have a wonderful time,
I can tell a joke
I can sing a tune
Just sit still
I'll entertain you.

Some days you find me serious
lost in theories, 
in the question of life
I'll start a discussion
and we'll discuss it all night
you'll quickly find out,
I'm awfully bright

then there are times I am tired
lost in the depths
isolated in myself
and I'll seem so far away
locked in my gloom
fighting to see the light

Somedays I need to love
I need to feel another
Doesnt even need to be a lover
a hug will do,
or just a simple touch

I am a series of contradictions,
a person with many parts
No part of me is perfect
and perhaps part of me insane
But I do not apologise,
I do not grovel at your feet
This is who I am
