Inbetween the moments of sleep ,
I sit and pray as I weep ~
In solitude
I lay back and close my eyes ,
I become deaf so I can't hear lies ~
In solitude
Life's moving too fast it's never been slow ,
my minds lost with no where to go ~
In solitude
My brain wanders upon troubled routes ,
Know what lies in my path ahead so I don't go out ~
In solitude
The past casting a shadow on my soul ,
as I sit and watch it grow ~
In solitude
My head just twirls ,
complete deviation from the world ~
In solitude
This life's a dirty game ,
sitting solo in mountains of pain ~
In solitude
Absence from activity ,
sprouts creativity ~
In solitude
This is my perfect food , life is just much easier in solitude ~ B.
