Spurious Scripture
The principles of forever
would be transparent if
they could be actual.
We are the carvings(shapes unknown)
in the back of an eye of uncertain existence
as it soars, beyond spheres,
beyond beyond.
Don't read me wrong,
this is a lovesong, baby.
Your toes have been mindlessly
tapping since birth.
Nothing should make you want to live,
to love, more than this gradual reflux.
Each significant touch
from the past, and possible future
is a door.
You've got to open some.
Everyday, is a perfect tragedy:
O' the love. O' the inevitability.
Life is so wonderfully cruel.
Any time is the right time
to start believing in angels
and stop loving ghosts
because cynics and realists
will never go to heaven.
They're gonna die a lonely death.
Yes,
I'll never go to heaven.

Re: Spurious Scripture
Ahh mr.a.
Three reads in, still a bit at odds.
In a good way.
Thought,"damn my man said baby, said it smooth, said it like a drunk bass player who's flirting"
but then explains the cynic, and becomes it.
Buncha cleverness here, and dig the voice. Got that Mr.A weight with just a bit of rubber...something to bounce off

you had me at the third stanza ;)
i see what our enlightened ruler up there is saying, this reads like an experiment in boundary flexing- which,
i see probably intentionally, you clever sonofabitch-
fits the subject matter EXACTLY.

Mr. A.
My brain is still feeling stuffed up, and what not, so my constructive cap is a little too tight right now. But I did wanna say I enjoyed reading this, particularly that last stanza
Good read :)

Must of lost my constructive-cap, especially when reading my own @&*#!?
Cheers for the praise, Maggie.

The heart of it, IMO is this:
"Each significant touch
from the past, and possible future
is a door.
You've got to open some."
The rest is kick-ass too.

That last stanza really got me. It's like a slap in the face to the reader even though it's used to describe yourself. I'm interested in what else you have to say, I'm now a follower ^_^
