Lesson in the field
Mothers blue sky.
So deep.
So comforting.
The sweet scent of lavender in the air,
Filling my lungs,
As the tall grass caresses my arms,
Moving at the slow tempo,
Of a sweetly calm song.
Clouds spotting the sky,
Crawling slowly and quietly,
Remind me of those dreams.
Those fleeting dreams.
Dreams that, no matter what you do, you never reach.
Dreams that are always there and visible,
Yet they never stay and you can never recall the details.
Closing my eyes,
Breathing in sweet scent,
I take another lesson,
From the Gods.
