POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
What ever I write, it comes from the experiences I´ve lived.
Who
Who I am is none of your concern.
Who I love is even less of your concern.
Who are you to say that my love is invalid?
Who are you to say that I cant get married?
Who said that the bible is the constitution?
Who said that your opinion is the law?
Are you jealous that maybe we love each other more?
Are you thinking that we are abhorrent demons?
Who are you to deny me my right to be miserably married like the rest of you?
Who are you to deny me my right to be happily married?
Who amongst you has the right to take away the rights...

Euphoria
Elation.
A pure state of euphoria,
where you float six fucking feet in the air,
and leave your body six feet behind.
You know you want it.
pure thoughts running through your mind,
letting the body move without hindrance,
the energy, hatred, and pain flowing out and away.
It lets me fly.
I have seen the face of supremacy,
and realize I see it every day in my own house.
Right in my mirror.
There is a cost, though.
eventually the face of supremacy,
becomes the face of nightmares and children's wails,
never to be...

Under a dark moon night
Listen, and listen closely.
Do you hear?
Do you hear them jeer?
The goblins and ghosts,
As they get oh-so near?
No.
Of course not.
But do you feel it.
It is a sense of dread and fear.
Hair raising, muscle tensing, gut wrenching, blood curdling fear.
It's the look in your eyes,
As you look down the cold steel barrel of a gun,
Up the unknown arm of some crazed psycho,
And into the face of a true contorted demon.
It's watching as your own brother lies in a hospital bed, dying from an allergic reaction to the very...

Grow up (hate-rant)
Leave me alone!
You were bullied as a kid.
So what?! I was too!
You cry over the stupidest shit!
Why do you think I'm not answering the phone!
Stand up on your own damn two feet!
Yes, I'm being an ass hole.
Sure, I'm being a jackass,
But you keep pushing your problems on me!
You always say,
"But you're the only one who loves me."
You even pulled the "you were just a lie and now I want to sleep forever."
GROW UP!
I'm not the last person on earth,
So stop being so clingy,
And for he sake of...

Favorite night.
Raining.
The drops hitting the pavement of the dark alley.
The warmth of the jet black leather jacket is the only thing offering warmth,
Aside from the occasional puff from a "lucky strike".
Standing, propped on the brick wall of the pub,
Looking out at the people running to their cars,
Or watching umbrellas unfold into the buildings across the street.
Coming out of my hiding spot,
I flick the lucky to the floor and put it out.
Looking up and down the dark street,
Up and down the bright neon lights,
Up and down the faces scrambling...

Lesson in the field
Mothers blue sky.
So deep.
So comforting.
The sweet scent of lavender in the air,
Filling my lungs,
As the tall grass caresses my arms,
Moving at the slow tempo,
Of a sweetly calm song.
Clouds spotting the sky,
Crawling slowly and quietly,
Remind me of those dreams.
Those fleeting dreams.
Dreams that, no matter what you do, you never reach.
Dreams that are always there and visible,
Yet they never stay and you can never recall the details.
Closing my eyes,
Breathing in sweet scent,
I take another lesson,...

Faces plastered on merchandise.
Is that really necessary?
Bright colors yelling at you.
Angry people screaming in your face.
Sell, sell.
Must sell.
Screaming and more screaming.
"Deals, deals, deals!! Buy one get one 20% off!"
Then they take the money right out of your pocket.
Shit, shit, and useless shit is what they sell.
Shit, shit, and useless shit is what you buy.
And a special treat for the kids.
Think about the times when one gift was enough.
Buy them a lollypop, and they were content.
Now the colors...

Until the end
Smile, smile, the smile they believe.
Smile, smile, so they won't think you lie.
Smile, smile, for everything you can't relieve.
Smile, smile, so you won't cry.
Dance, dance, the dance macabre.
Dance, dance, to the sorrow of life.
Dance, dance, feel your heart throb.
Dance, dance, to the pains of strife.
Scream, scream, the scream from pain.
Scream, scream, to the unjustness of love.
Scream, scream, touching your voice to the rain.
Scream, scream, to the heavens above.
Life begets death.
Death begets life.
One last breath....
Smile, smile, so they won't think you lie.

Alone?
You want to see brighter days?
I'll try my best to smile for you.
Though it's so hard for me,
I'll be a brighter person.
Emotions.
I hold only fear as an emotion.
Tell me, I need to know.
What does it feel like to cry?
What do tears running down your cheeks feel like?
Is it a relief afterwards?
That long sigh I've heard, but never felt.
Can you tell me?
How about excitement?
True happiness?
Hatred?
I have only fear.
The fear of being afraid.
The fear of feeling an emotion for the first time,...

Sehnsucht
Bliss.
Romantic bliss.
Lost in uncontiousness,
Yet knowing of your presence.
Her sweet caramel skin.
Is enough to make my heart grin.
Her lovely flawless face.
It's beauty makes my heart race.
Her silken black hair.
Makes life seem oh so fair.
I dream of a heavenly retreat.
Both of us,
Under a star-filled sky.
By the sweet lullaby of the river.
With the scent of fresh earth.
Our breaths showing it the air,
As we talk to each other,
Pointing out constellations,
Comparing who sees the brightest star.

Harbinger of peace

Yelling and crying.
They kept fighting over and over,

Swearing and anger galore.
I peeked into the room,
