Snow Falls
Snow falls,
White and sleek
I watch it from
An icy window
And I dream about it
The snowflakes drifting
And I watch the snow fall
It calls me
Somehow
The snow fall knows me
And I don't understand
It's quiet words
It tries to understand me
The only thing ever before
That has stayed this long
Why snow?
The branches are tipped
With a white tip
And it's cold outside
I see my breath
As I walk down the street
Slipping underneath my feet
What now?
When it's cold outside
And the snow falls gently
What do I do?
I catch it on my tounge
And the snow melts in my mouth
Freezing over lakes
And making everything icy
And when the snow falls
&& it starts to turn night
I turn on my lantern
And watch them sparkle
In the light
White and sleek
I watch it from
An icy window
And I dream about it
The snowflakes drifting
And I watch the snow fall
It calls me
Somehow
The snow fall knows me
And I don't understand
It's quiet words
It tries to understand me
The only thing ever before
That has stayed this long
Why snow?
The branches are tipped
With a white tip
And it's cold outside
I see my breath
As I walk down the street
Slipping underneath my feet
What now?
When it's cold outside
And the snow falls gently
What do I do?
I catch it on my tounge
And the snow melts in my mouth
Freezing over lakes
And making everything icy
And when the snow falls
&& it starts to turn night
I turn on my lantern
And watch them sparkle
In the light
