*I had promissed myself that I would keep away from thevsad poems for a while but I felt that this one was kind of necessary due to recent occurrences. So this poem is dedicated to Ms.Riquita Jackson, the victims from the incedent in Newtown, and anyone else who recently found out there time was up.*

Tears rolling down faces, wishing for better days
Flowers sitting by your side as your body lays
I didn't know you but there's still a pain in my heart
I know your family's spirit must be torn apart
They say that only the good die young
That's right, 20 innocent kids lives were taken huh?
Not a reason in the world to get shot
Your parents probably wish they could've took those shots
What kind of person does it take to shoot up a school?
There's nothing worth more than a life in this world
Now we're counting up seeing 26 lives lost
There isn't a calculator on earth that can add up that cost
Riquita, Hey, hear this
I know you don't know me but I hope you can see this
Broken hearts of many, sad faces all around
A family realizing they're baby isn't coming back to town
Damn, another life gone
On the road of life sometimes things just go wrong
The world will never get to see your smile again
But you will live on through your family and friends
I wish I could've met you all while you were alive but now that's impossible
So I'll just wish you R.I.P.
