Have you ever seen?
Anything more epic
Then the river
Flowing and carving its rocky path
Day and night
All the time
Life giving
And all alone
Over the land
Over the falls
On and on
The river go’s
Rushing and gushing
Dominating the land
Everyone must sit back
And watch the rivers plan

A beautiful poem, and one that evokes the love for nature and wonder at its' marvels that I feel to this day and have felt since my childhood. Truly, a river is a most majestic thing, and a life-giving and nurturing thing. Being female, I find that nurturing nature to be in harmony with my own and it sings to me deeply. Thanks for this poem, it is lovely beyond words. :)
