Flat wrinkles
Pampered demons are harder to cast out.
Nourished on vices, their tentacles cling.
He lives depressed, ironed flat on drugs prescribed
but often demon quakes would wrinkle the conditioned press.
Like over-drenched skin he becomes
uglier yet vulnerably more sensitive.

This reminds me a lot of the idea behind Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde if you ever read it: we all have this evil side to us, and if we give into it and let it grow, eventually it'll destroy us.
Anyway, I really liked reading this...I think the whole image you create is so incisive and intriguing.
