silence

Our tree is crying
out
again into
winds

winds called by our howling
tree, crying
for us to hear, (it)
she me him her

I am deaf
you are blind
we feel all of this
still we are only half

one half of not a whole
our tree is
screaming
into these winds

you ask me what
our tree see's
I don't hear you (and)
cry a little deeper

I ask you what our tree is screaming
into these winds
but you don't see me
with the sounds of the winds deafening you

I run for the cliff edge, unseen
unheard by love,
you
love

so as our tree ceases to scream
your sight illuminates
to see the winds howling
through a slient tree
