Exhausted realization
I'm losing my energy to keep up this fight
I'm feeling realities cold bitter bite
I focused on others and wanted to help
But my hatred of everything only hurt myself
I started a fire to engulf these streets but stood to close and used to much gasoline
Now the rage that I loved is the rage that I hate
Revolution isn't getting drunk in some random state
You can't change a system blacked out on a floor
You can't feed a child with a needle in arm
So who am I
To preach these things
When I'm just as bad as those I confess to hate
So if we're hanging the guilty start with
Me
