A puddle of tears
Left to dry
Love did not persevere
With this lie
Cry me a river
You said to me
The real you
I could finally see
A river tears
Left in secret
Surrounded by fears
I could hardly keep it
You walked away
Without a good bye
What could I say
With your lie
An ocean of tears
Left for all to see
It was here
Where you drowned me
Cry me a river

It was here our love withered
For all to see
