The Wandering Mind

Lying on the ground, eyes closed, freezing.
Teeth clattering, cheeks hurting. Eyes closed.

Mind far from at ease, mind wandering.

My mind on Maganda, her beauty.
My mind on Maganda, her sweet mind.
My mind on Maganda, on why she left me alone.

My mind on the friends gone away, on the friends whom had left.
My mind on the friends gone away, the ones whom betrayed me.
My mind on the friends gone away, whom made me suicidal.

On this cold ground, my mind wandering, eyes closed.

Thinking about my childhood, the bullies whom hated me.
Thinking about my childhood, hating the outdoors.
Thinking about my childhood, the first girl I loved.

Thinking about God, the one whom sent my savior.
Thinking about God, why churches don't know him.
Thinking about God, why everyone hates the best Christians.

On the cold ground, I rise, a thought coming to my head.

Thinking about the girl I now love, show her my love.
Thinking about the girl I now love, allow her the space.
Thinking about the girl I now love, show not my depression.

It could help, but I do truly doubt it. I have not been a winner.
It could help, it truly could. But it would be a miracle.
It never helped before, and life is a circle.
