Ooh I love this! I like how it feels when read aloud; a succession of short, staccato sentences which build until, well, "gone." So simple, and yet so overwhelmingly dark and profound. This is going on my reading list!

'bone and fabric' I like that a lot. That's a perfect way to describe that shadow. Your short poem always have such a massive imapact.
