She's Not Fine Inside

The ghosts that dance behind her eyes
Remind her she's not fine inside
With her hollow smiles, overactive brain
And the mercury running through her veins

Jealousy taints her every word
What she truly thinks is never heard
No one gives a fuck anyway
So she's confined to her hazy room all day

Praying for a night that she can sleep
Without worrying how near the monsters will creep
She forces metal into her skin
Wishing that someone would care again...
