Pono'i
Throughout my moku, Mai 'O'opu'ola a i Mokulehua o Ko'olau
And to Keanae, 'O Keanae ka ahupua'a.
From the mountain to the sea, 'O Pi'ina'au a i Linohau
In this place that surrounds me, a puni ia'u
Exists the wai, Ola ka wai.
The ua that descends, 'O Lanipili ka ua
Mixing with the ponds, 'O Palauhulu ka wai.
Wai lives in the land, Aia i hea ka wai a Kane? Aia i lalo i ka honua
From which it grows, ka hua o ka 'aina.
Wai pulsates through me, he wai inu, he wai ola, he wai mana, e ola no a
Coursing through my veins, ka haloa
Connecting me to this sacred place, wa i hala, keia wa, ka waehiki mai ana
