Reaction
The sky is on fire and it isn't reflected in your eyes
The entire world has come to end but they remain dark and undisturbed
Not a mirror to the chaos, the lighting, the burning on world's end
The horizon is exploding in iridescent embers and wildfire
Raging against the darkness
But they can't light yours
Two convex lenses as deep as the void no give, no fear, no show, no ire
Not a hint of lust, love, jealousy, hate, anger or desire
As cold and calm and dark, No, darker than the pitch of night when the moons been swallowed and the stars have fallen...

It's just me and me tonight
Bathing in flashes from a kodak
Auto print selfies, I wish were with you
I just want to collab in life I hope you know that
We should have kids, that ain't a line
Play in the park on jungle gym, we can skin our knees
And I'll kiss you on your band aid to make it all better
It's okay to fall hard love, I promise
You don't need to land on feet, I'll catch you before you hit the hard asphalt on life street
Asleep in my arms
But tonight it's just me and me, and the thoughts that drown, the
ice in my tea
I feel it...

to the universe
Watch the sunrise
Crawl over the horizon
Shining its lights over the edges of earth's turning pages
Illuminating the story of its millions of characters
Between two playing celestial lovers
Books splayed open from their eternal chase
The vibrations of their footsteps upon the wood floor of there eternal loft
We watched the light from our window
I saw you against the sun
Draped in glittering gems
Perfumed by the Sea
Sun beams casting a perfect shadow
Our love reflecting
That of something greater
In the scheme of things

Still laughter
I never meant to make her feel like that girl
like the girl i'd just mess around with
like the girl that has to fight everyday for an ounce of respect
or attention
i wanted her to be the girl who's hand i would hold and who i would write poems for
and yesterday in the darkened room we sat i listened to still laughter
echoing through my ears
reverbating in my bones
striking my heart piercing to my soul
and for a moment a flower would bloom
but like most of mine i would attempt to pluck it to soon
and in an instance i ruined something good
killed...

as the words flow...
I have been gone far to long
as I have written down these words it had been months since i picked up a pen to craft a song of my own soul
and the ink flowed fresh from the small incision made within the page and the words flowed from my mind like blood from two slit wrists
as i covered the page with my life blood
I have been gone far to long
because the words stumbled upon brambled path through darkest of forests
within the woods of purgatory
in my head and could never quite find their way
to my heart so it could be pumped through my ventricles from left to...

God, I hate her
God, I hate her oh only God knows how much I do
I hate her from the tips of her dark thick hair to the tips of her toes
Which I'll get back to later
I hate her the way she loves everything I do
How she cares for my flesh and blood
God I hate that so much
I hate the way she dances kind of awkwardly
I hate the way she told me I was hers
I hate her from her sulky eyes to her full body
And those toes
But the thing I hate most is how she tells me I'm so good
No scratch that
It's how much she isn't mine

the taking tree
There once was a young boy
And a tree
A glorious tree
Whose branches spread wide
And whose leaves were the deepest of green
Whose fruit was the sweetest in the world
And this tree loved the young child
More then anything
One day the child said
Tree i'm hungry please feed me
Tree gave him her fruit
But said my dear nothing in this world is free you cannot take without giving
And so the boy gave the tree his heart
And the tree took it gladly
The child grew and learned to play
One day
It was so hot and so the boy asked the tree...

I walked upon the ground up bones of dinosaurs
As electricity sparked from ears to sky
Until I looked down and saw the face of death

Clean
